Thabo Mbeki Arrives In Uganda Ahead Of Annual International Conference On Governance

Thabo Mbeki, the former President of South Africa, is today set to deliver a keynote address at the 2nd Annual International Conference on  Governance and Service Delivery for Developing Economies organized by the Uganda Management Institute (UMI).

According to officials from Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, President Museveni will be the Chief Guest at the International Conference that will take place under the theme : “Accountability , Innovation and Quality in Public Service Delivery.” at the Hotel Africana.

The First lady and Minister for Education and Sports Janet Kataha Museveni, will also be in attendance as well as other Government Ministers, Senior Officials and Members of the Diplomatic Corp.

Thabo Mbeki arrived yesterday afternoon and was received at the Entebbe International Airport by Dr. John Chrysostom Muyingo (MP) Minister of State for Higher Education,  Major-Gen. (Rtd) Lekoa Solly Mollo,  the South African Ambassador to Uganda and officials of the Uganda Management Institute (UMI)
