Record TV’s Isaac Olupot, the brains behind the carnival, who is also the founder and President Teso at Heart, assured revelers that there will be lots of fun, dance and eats.

He also encouraged Itesots and people from other tribes to come in huge numbers since the show only happens once in a year.

“This episode of Kampala Carnival is going to be very different from the previous ones as we have this time added many cultural foods to our menu such as Eboo, Emangor, Emalakany, Emutula, Emuna, Einyogole, Ebaale, pasted meat among others. We shall also be showcasing different Iteso dances such Akoogo, Ajosi, Ekiria kiria, Ekebe among others, just come in large numbers to witness what Teso has in stock,” Olupot said.

There will be cultural wear exhibitions, choosing Teso’s most outstanding leautiful lady literally known as ‘Atemele Na Oteeso’.

Olupot also added that the event will be used as an opportunity to launch the first Akoogo Dance Troupe.

“We shall also be officially launching the first Akoogo Dancing Troupe called the Ore Dancers. We strongly believe that time is up for other external troupes to under deliver Akoogo dance when Iteso have talent to deliver it with the original basics,” says Olupot.
