Former Vipers Sports Club gaffer Edward Golola has finally landed a coaching job at FUFA Big League side Tooro United.
Golola was unveiled on Wednesday morning at Tavern Woods, Kabuusu replacing Muhammad Kisekka who was relieved of his duties midway through the last season.
Golola has been inactive since being sacked at Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers SC where he was replaced by Fred Kajoba.
At Tooro United, he will be deputized by Dungu Simon while Moses Oloya will be the team’s goalkeeping coach alongside Jamada Magasi as the First team trainer.
Tooro United (formerly Soana FC) was relegated to the second division League following their dismal performance last season. The club finished bottom before the league was prematurely ended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
At his new home, Golola who doubles as the Technical director at Masaza Cup team Singo Ssaza is now tasked to help the club regain its top flight status going into next season.
