Veteran fashion designer Sylvia Owori has again hit on the Kyagulanyi family saying that the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament is misleading his fans.
This comes after the singer turned politician was seen clad in a golden suit at his recently concluded Kyarenga concert at One Love beach Busabala which according to the fashion designer is under the mother category of yellow.
Being a fashion authority in Uganda, the fashionista through social media accused Bobi Wine of double standards by always encouraging his ‘red army’ to wear red and then he shows up in what she believes is a yellow suit at such a function.
According the Owori, nobody should be afraid to wear a color for any occasion to make a political statement.
“Like I said before, we shouldn’t be so afraid to wear anything we like for any occasion to make a fashion or political statement. I wear red all the time while trying to celebrate positivist and vitality and it’s very same color that other people use to promote extremism and radical movements, When you wear yellow suit or a shade related to it on such an occasion, of course it’s a political statement to the ‘’other side’ which might not be easily clear for your young fans to understand,” she wrote on Facebook.
The designer went on to accuse the Kyarenga singer of hiding something from his fans, “We have eyes but we don’t see, ears but hear the lies in between,”
“When you are constantly encouraging your red army to only wear red and you wait for such an occasion to don a yellow suit, isn’t that counter intuitive to what to preach? It’s really it about color? Or perhaps we are all missing something here. We have eyes but we don’t see, ears but hear the lies in between, why are our hearts so hardened that fail see on the wider spectrum beyond red and yellow or like you call it Gold,” she concluded.
Despite being attacked by Bobi’s loyal social media fans and supporters, Owori is not of the people that is about to give up on attacking the family.
She recently claimed that Bobi Wine’s wife Barbie Kyagulanyi is not influential after she was chosen as a panelist during the Kampala Geopolitics Conference at Makerere University.
