Swangz Avenue has come out to officially apologize for the inappropriate conduct demonstrated at St.Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK) on 13th this month.
After a video of the ‘Musawo’ singer and her dancers nastily dubbing school boys going viral, there was disgruntlement among the public deeming it extremely unprofessional.
“We deeply regret the inappropriate performance by Winnie Nwagi at St Mary’s College Kisubi on July 13th.
We have investigated the incident and measures have been put in place to avoid a repeat of the same,” Swangz apologized on their official social media page.
They added, “This was a huge error in judgment and both the artist and the management team acknowledge the pain and mistrust caused by this incident.
We apologize to the general public, parents of the students in attendance and the school Administration”
Nwagi on Monday 22, held a discussion with the Pornography Control Committee, where she apologized to the committee, promising to refrain from any more Pornographic presentation.
“I Nakanwagi Winnie of Swangz Avenue do here by acknowledge that my representation through indecent and erotic dancing during the music show held on July 13,2019 at St.Marys College-Kisubi,was pornographic and contravened the provisions of the Pornographic Act,2014,” read part of the apology.
Nwagi had gone to perform during a function for the boys, however, everything went rouge and the boys climbed up on stage to get a chance to dance with the artist.
