Gangly forward Ibra Nsimbe has committed his future at Uganda Premier League newcomers Malabba Youth Development Association Football Club (MYDA FC).
Nsimbe signed a three-year contract extension with the Flying Eagles that will keep him at the club until 2022/2023 season.
The club confirmed the development on Wednesday via it’s official social media accounts.
“We are delighted to announce Nsimbe Ibra has signed a three year extension to his contract with the club, with the option for a further year,” read the club statement.
Last season, Nsimbe was instrumental in guiding the club to the top flight having scored Nine goals and was the joint top scorer of the FUFA Big League Elgon group.
“I am happy where I am. I love MYDA Football Club and this is my home. I am going to work tirelessly to see that we are at the top flight of the league,” Nsimbe said.
He also scored six goals for Bukedi province during the 2019 FUFA Drum tournament before his side lost the final to Acholi province and becomes the second player to extend his stay at the club after striker Eric Mutebi.
The Tororo based club has made already landed midfielder Amos Etoju, Waiswa Kasango, defender Yakubu Ramathan and midfielder Isaac Mweru Doka while former Sports Club Villa forward Yubu Bogere is said to have reached a personal agreement with the club.
