Vipers Sports Club target man Fahad Bayo Aziiz could soon make a career move to South African Giants, Mamelodi Sundowns.
The dreadlocked forward joined the Uganda Premier League Champions last season from Zambian outfit, Buildcon Football Club.
Bayo put in a sublime performance in the recently concluded 2019/2020 UPL season, scoring 12 goals for the four time Champions, a show which has attracted the continental Giants.
“As it is, Mamelodi Sundowns are interested in me and they have contacted me before. I’m ready for a move and my team is ready to release me. I am ready for Mamelodi Sundowns as it’s the best offer for me. If they are ready to sign me, I’m ready to join,” Bayo told kickoff.com.
ChimpReports understands that last season, Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca tabled an offer of USD 35000 but the Venoms’ president Dr Lawrence Mulindwa turned down it down.
Other clubs which are reportedly interested in the Uganda Cranes and former Proline player are Al Ahly SC (Egypt), Entente Sportive Setif (Algeria) and Tanzanian side Azam FC.
