State House, Balaam Dismiss Soroti State Lodge Rumors

State House and events promoter, Balaam Barugahara have dispelled reports that the latter and Commissioner of Parliament, Solomon Silwanyi were on Monday turned away from Soroti State Lodge.

Social media reports had alleged that the duo went to meet President Museveni yesterday morning without making the required appointments hence being bounced.

Senior Presidential Press Secretary, Don Wanyama has on Tuesday morning rubbished the allegations.

“Claims that Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi was kicked out of Soroti State lodge are false. Treat them as such,” said Wanyama.

“The immunised mutabani is busy in Eastern Uganda combing every nook and crevice for votes for Mzee wa Kazi YK Museveni.”

Balaam on his side said he didn’t even go to Soroti State Lodge on Tuesday.

“I have not been to State Lodge Soroti ,I spent my entire day in Kumi district mobilizing for President Museveni I even attended the last campaign meeting of our Party Chairman,” said Balaam.

Meanwhile Silwany is said to be in his constituency in Bukooli County in Bugiri district.

Balaam, a frequent guest of the President, said he is well acquainted with the procedures of visiting the State Lodge or State House.

“The PPS is solely responsible for fixing and confirming appointments I can’t go there if am not on the PPS list,” noted Balaam.
