Striker Erisa Keith Ssekisambu has sealed a move to join Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia FC.
The deal was confirmed to this website by his agent Ronald Fred Mwine Nuwagira alias Ronnie Santos indicating the striker has agreed to join K’Oghalo on a two year deal.
” Ssekisambu has joined Gor Mahia on a two year deal and will play for them starting next season. ” Nuwagira confirmed.
The Ugandan forward was instrumental as Vipers SC won the Uganda Premier League last season scoring seven league goals.
He however opted not to renew his contract at the Kitende based side and has since then been a free agent linked with several clubs including Zambia’s Nkana Red Devils.
Last month, the striker together with his agent moved to China for trials but nothing substantial materialized until Gor Mahia came calling for his signature.
At Gor Mahia, he joins fellow countryman Shafik Batambuze who has also just joined them from Tanzanian outfit Singida FC.
Ssekisambu comes in as one of the options to fill the void left by Rwadese striker Meddie Kagere who left Gor Mahia for Simba SC in Tanzania.
In Uganda, Ssekisambu has featured for URA FC, Express FC, SC Villa and Vipers SC
