Sprite Schools Tournament: 32 Players to Represent Uganda to be Unveiled

A total of 32 players, 16 girls and 16 boys are set to be selected from the Sprite Fast Track 3*3 High Schools tournament that is set to end this Saturday.

The players that will be selected from the grand finale at KIU, will represent Uganda at the upcoming FIBA U18 3*3 fast track.

The Schools tourney is an initiative of Sprite (Coca-Cola brand) Pamoja Africa in conjunction with the Federation of Uganda Basketball Association (FUBA).

The program which was set with an aim of activating 50 schools in Uganda, was divided into two phases.

The first phase focussed on High Schools in Kampala region, which included St Michael, Old Kampala, Nabisunsa, Crane High, Buddo SS among others.

The second phase which started this month has targeted Schools from outside the Central region like Jinja College, Kyebambe Girls, Ntare School, Mbale SS etc.

At the Grand finale this Saturday 30th, a team of 32 players will be selected from at an event that will see individual performers earn gifts among others, with entertainment from DJ Crim and Musician Fik Fameika.
