The first phase saw Tokyo 2020 take an early lead collecting 45 points out of the possible 50 with Betway Agosto and Expendables come joint second with 40 points apiece.

The spot the ball challenge was up next and it is from here that Betway Agosto resuscitated themselves with Clive Kyazze getting three of the five questions right, a feat only equaled by Team Catanassio’s John Vianney Nsimbe.
