Yesterday, socialite Zari Hassan kicked off her Tulambule Ne Zari campaign aimed at promoting Uganda’s tourism.
Her first destination was Western Uganda and Day One of the tour found her at Mbarara where she camped at Igongo Country Hotel.
While there, the gorgeous but aging self-styled Boss Lady had the opportunity to experience Kinyanokle culture where she donned the traditional wear while visiting Igongo Cultural Museum.

A super excited Zari has since revealed that she has learnt so much about the culture and their lifestyle that dates as far back as 1420.
While there, Zari also tried out their traditional dance Ekitagururo and also learned that it is where the first documented solar eclipse happened.

On her way to Mbarara, Zari and team including Tourism Minister Godfrey Kiwanda had several stop overs including the Equator in Mpigi and Lukaya where they enjoyed road side muchomo.
Zari has since heaped praise on Western Uganda for what she has described as ‘breathtaking sites’.
