Tycoon Suleiman Kabangala Mbuga alias SK Mbuga has promised to buy ambulances for Ggaba and Entebbe.
“These roads need ambulances for quick services whenever there is an accident,” said Mbuga in a live video while heading to his palatial home in Munyonyo.
“When my hospital is finally complete, I will have to ensure there are two ambulances, at least, for each of the roads to Ggaba and Entebbe.”
The philanthropist was concerned after seeing a Boda boda cyclist almost take a pedestrian’s life.
The business mogul, who likes describing himself as a “true hustler” began constructing the Kasanga-based hospital – NU-SHIFAH – in 2016.
The multibillion healthy facility will have, among other things, an emergency ward, in and out patient section, babies ward and a research Centre.
And this, he hopes, “will save the transport costs that people have been paying for treatment abroad.”
With the hospital complete, he also harbors intentions to join forces with the government to ensure presence of good medical expertise for tough health complications like cancer, kidney and heart diseases.
His promise is irrefutable since during #SaveCarol Campaign, he donated Shs500,000 and two return tickets for the now deceased Carol Atuheirwe.
