Entebbe Court Chief Magistrate Susan Okeni has committed to the High Court Godfrey Wamala, alias Troy who is the key suspect in the murder of musician Moses Sekibogo aka Mowzey Radio.
This followed submissions by State Prosecutor Julius Muhirwe, who informed court that investigations in this matter have been concluded and asked the magistrate to forward the file to High Court for the accused to face trial.
Prosecution says on 22nd January 2018 at De Bar in Entebbe, Wamala murdered Mowzey after throwing him on the floor that later led to his death on 1st February 2018.
Part of the evidence assembled against Wamala, is that he was seen with the late at De Bar drinking before the scuffle happened.
Among the exhibits to be produced by the DPP in court include telephone printouts, sketch plan of the scene of crime among others.
Troy was remanded back to Kigo Prison until the matter is fixed for hearing in the High Court.
During the last session, Mozey’s relatives and friends stormed court protesting against the delayed hearing of the matter regarding it as Justice delayed
Even today Mozey’s supporters were present in court.
