Singer Maro Partners with Plan International to Support the Girl Child


RnB Crooner Ronald Magada better known as Maro is continuing his thread of charity and empowerment with his projects.

On the latest, ChimpLyf has learnt Maro is partnering with Plan International, a charity Non-Governmental Organization.

This website understands that the singer has already started his work of girl empowerment by nurturing and polishing talents from various districts.

According to sources, Maro has taken on and reproduced songs by several girls at his “Volume up” studios.

Among the girls he has taken on includes Spark bombers from Kamuli, Young B from Tororo, BeePee from Lira and Namaganda Miriam from Kampala.

These are just a few of the many girls the singer and the NGO intend to help.

For Spark Bombers, this website understands that Maro polished their song “Baninaze” (sisters).


For Lira’s winner BeePee he reproduced “Gwok kwoni”.

As for Kampala’s Namaganda, the studio brushed up her song Tutaase Omuwala”.

Tororo’s Young B 44 received a sound lift on “Gwokinyitindho”

Plan International aims at Empowering youth with Technical, Vocational and Life skills to enable them access employment opportunities.

The partnership comes when the RnB Kyabazinga is planning for mega concerts in Jinja and Moroto.

First he will hold a charity show on August 12, 2017 in Moroto, Karamoja region where all the proceeds will help the less privileged.

He will later hold his Jinja concert dubbed “Nziranago” on September 23, 2017 at Jinja Dam waters.

According to reliable information, the singer will have 23 curtain raisers, 10 of whom will be homegrown talent from Jinja, and the other 10 from Kampala.
