Singer John Blaq,Poets Stir Evoke Nights ‘Neon at the Bridge’ Edition

Happening for the 3rd time, this time at the new Nile Bridge, evoke Nights party was the source of excitement and fun not only to the Jinja locals but Kampala partiers as well who traveled for the same course.

It is one of the nights to remember as the new Jinja Nile Bridge was shining in the dark with Neon colors glowing all night long.


Evoke Night is an all-round expressive stage that features raw-unedited talent from the best of the Arts in the region.


Having spent two seasons giving a stage to talent to entertain, the organizers came up with another thrilling and exiting version of the party which turned paradigm on its head focusing on giving talent, a stage to compete.


There were performances from poests laker, a staunch lady who doesn’t have any problem directing most of her performances towards supporting feminism with her signature epic sensual outpour stories, evoke dancers among others.



The event which started as early as 8pm focused on elements such as Poetry, spoken and word, vocal skills, dance, rap and live band.


With new sponsorship from Club Pilsner, Evoke Night Season now has a refreshed feel, bigger stage, wider national talent search and crazy talent that truly showcase Uganda.


There was also entertainment from sensational singer John blaq whose performance drove fans crazy, most especially ladies who kept on chanting as they sang along with the singer.


He performed his hit songs Tukwatagane,Obubadi and Replace me being the crowd’s favorite among others.
