Simba SC Cut Ties with Hamis Kizza, Retain Jjuko in New Squad

Tanzania giants Simba SC have omitted Uganda Cranes striker Hamis ‘Diego’ Kizza from their 2016/17 squad.

According to reports from the Swahili nation, healing Simba’s new management headed by Cameroonian coach Joseph Omog and his Assistant Jackson Mayanja opted for services of Burundian Ladit Mavugo and Blagroun Frederic (Coted’ Ivore).

The club had already released Cranes prodigal left winger Brian Majwega whose contract was already expiring. Majwega was unveiled at KCCA FC on Monday.

Our sources hinted that the decision to drop Kizza, search who finished as the club top scorer, was reached at basing on his disciplinary record. Simba and Kizza are said to be in talks on how to settle the remaining contract.

The sleeping giants have endured a rusty four trophy less seasons forcing the avid fanbase to call for the top heads.
