Sheilah Gashumba Finally Opens Up on Beating by Dad Frank Gashumba

Socialite cum television personality Sheilah Carol Gashumba daughter to city businessman Frank Gashumba has dismissed claims circulating on social media that she does not see eye to eye with her dad.

Sheilah was last week reportedly beaten by her dad following what he termed as ‘her engaging in acts of indiscipline’ when she did not return home one night only to show up the next day.

The pencil thin babe made this clarification at Rock Bar-Speke Hotel where she was hosting Rock Comedy on October 9, after being put to the sword by comedian Optional Allan.

Optional Allan hit the stage with his jokes directed to Sheilah asking whether it’s true that she condemned her father’s slapping and that the two were not in good terms at the moment.

As if the comedian had planned his jokes on Sheilah so as to know the truth, Optional Allan kept emphasizing as to why the slapping/beating came about.

“Sheilah, we want to know how the slapping/beating came about, were those lies against your father or what? Because according to the pictures that circulated on media, you were terribly beaten on the back. We saw many stretch marks on your back but now I see you are very healthy and happy, which is which?” joked Optional Allan.

Sheila in her response to Allan’s queries said she was only disciplined by her dad and it was not any serious thing to cause alarm about.

“I was never beaten; it was just normal disciplining that a parent would give his or her child. Those pictures that you saw on social media are not mine; that is not me my dad cannot beat me to that extend.”

The comedian further joked about how international artists behave when receiving a ward, compared to mostly male Ugandan artists such as Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool and many more, who will want to give a lengthy speech.

Comedian Optional Allan tasked Sheila to talk about the aleged beef beef her and her dad.

The night also saw live music by Bruce Martins, poetry and performances from Maula & Reign, Senga Nantume and Godi Godi.

It should be noted that Frank Gashumba stated that he will not allow anyone to run his home after talk that he had beaten Sheilah for what he termed as ‘disrespect’. He has since done and said everything to justify his actions.
