Coke Studio Africa is back in full swing!
The new season of the Coca-Cola musical show has been launched in Nairobi.
Ugandan singers Sheebah Karungi and Fik Fameica plus Alvin Kizz have been chosen as participants in the 2019 edition of the show.
Coke Studio Africa will see 25 talented singers from different African countries pooled together to record music projects.
Sheebah Karungi, who is returning to the house for the second time following her stint in 2017, has expressed excitement over the opportunity, posting on social media, “AM BACK!! Thank You @cokestudioafrica For Having Me Again!! Super Excited!!…”.
Meanwhile, this will be Fik Fameica and Alvin Kizz’s debut following a hugely successful 2018.
The “Tonsukuma” hitmaker hinted at the move on social media, writing on Instagram, “Dreams come true. GOD IS GOOD. Guess my next move!!!..”
Other African stars joining the house include Rayvanny (Tanzania), Winky D (Zimbabwe), Messias (Mozambique), among others.
The music stars are now expected to be paired up with different producers and spend weeks in the studio in Nairobi recording music covers, Mashups, originals and throwbacks.
