Striker Muhammad Shaban will for the first time return to Betway Greenlight stadium a familiar ground to him.
Ahead of the highly billed encounter between Onduparaka FC and KCCA FC on Tuesday, Shaban will be the centre of attraction.
The striker who left Onduparaka FC for KCCA FC at the start of the season will face his former team for the first time but remains unfazed ahead of the encounter.
“ I am upbeat ahead of the game because I know there is a lot at stake and facing a team I once played for but I’m fully focused to make sure I help my team win. “ Shaban stated.
Asked about if he feels any pressure playing in the environment that Onduparaka fans create when supporting their team at Greenlight stadium, the forward was quick to say he is in the right shape and strong hearted to handle such situations.
“ I started playing football there and I have grown up in that environment. Therefore I don’t feel any pressure.” He indicated.
Shaban left Onduparaka in November last year amidst controversies that needed the player’s status committee to decide the fate of the player.
He has so far scored six goals in the league including a hat trick against Soana FC.
