Sebuufu Murder Case Judgement Pushed to Next Month

High Court Judge Anglin Senoga has set 17th June 2019 to deliver her judgment on the case in which Pine car bond proprietor Muhammad Sebuufu and 7 others are accused of murdering business lady Donah Betty Katushabe.

The judgement had been fixed for today but the judge said she was unable to finalize it in time.

In court today the lawyers from both sides were present with all the accused persons ready for the judgement.

Earlier on, the two Court Assessors in their unbinding opinion, having looked into the evidence, asked court to acquit the accused persons.

Sebuufu and his other co-accused are out on bail whereas two others are still on remand in Luzira Prison

Prosecution alleges that on 20th March 2015 Muhamad Ssebufu, Tasingika, Godfrey Kayiza, Phillip Mirambe  Stephen Lwanga, Shaban Oduttu  and others at large  by use of sticks and a panga beat and sliced Donah Katushabe to death for failure to clear a 9 million shillings debt which was balance for a  car that she had  bought from Sebuufu
