Sports Club Villa’s industrious midfield gem David Owori “Colgate” has reportedly agreed personal terms with Nakawa based URA FC after lengthy talks.
Owori has been linked to various StarTimesUganda Premier League clubs since the climax of last season’s StarTimes Uganda Premier League including KCCA FC and Express FC.
Owori has been among the most consistent Villa players and his departure from the ‘Jogoos could sink their tittle hope going into the 2020/21 season.
He is a graduate of Nsambya Youth Academy, Wembley Soccer Academy, Lukuli United, Vipers SC, and Proline Football Club, a side he left in 2018 for the record champions.
Owori is expected to add steel in the Tax collectors’ midfield that has Saidi Kyeyune, Mikidad Ssenyonga, Jackson Nunda, Joackim Ojera, Kagimu Shafik Kuchi and Julius Mutyaba.
In case the deal materializes, he will be the third acquisition for the URA FC joining Nunda and goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo who joined from KCCA FC and Maroons FC respectively.
He will join Ambrose Kirya, Charles Lwanga and Bashir Mutanda who already left for Bul FC, KCCA FC and Mbarara City FC respectively.
