The Mayor of the Sanga town, Safari Mugenyi has commended efforts by National Water and Sewage Corporation (NWSC) for its continued efforts to connect different areas in Uganda, especially Sanga Town Council to clean and safe water.
“Thank you NWSC for the massive water mains connection across the country. Before NWSC took over Sanga, the water supply situation was bad, we are now enjoying the water day and night,” he said.
This was during a field survey by NWSC officers led by the MD Johnson Amanyo, Sanga town council leadership of the proposed Nshara Agricultural industrial park in Sanga town Council Kiruhura District recently.
The visit was intended to identify possible water distribution network routes and associated components for the proposed park.
According to officials, the park will include Multilevel abattoir, a cattle holding area for mass beef production, a cattle products processing plant among others.
