Rugunda Calls for Effective Health Care for Vulnerable Groups

According to Rugunda, the conference provides an opportunity for participating countries to learn from one another in order to improve health service delivery.

Twenty four African countries and partner organizations, including six UN Agencies are attending the Conference.

It is a follow up on the excellent work by African countries in implementing the Global Strategy for Women, Children and Adolescent health.

Rugunda said as part of Government’s effort to track and monitor implementation of priority programs, a delivery unit has been established in the Office of the Prime Minister.
