The Inspector General of the Uganda police Force General Edward Kale Kayihura has made a mini –reshuffle transferring the Kigezi regional Police commander ACP Paul Nkore, barely a year after he was sent to the south western region.
In reshuffle message, Kayihura replaced ACP Nkore with ACP Denis Namuwoza who has been the RPC Rwenzori Region.
General Kayihura also deployed SSP Wesley Nganizi to Kampala North as the Regional Police Commander replacing SP Ekudot who has been sent for studies.
The three officers have all been undergoing a senior command course at Bwebajja for nine months where they graduated with master’s degree in Peace, Security and Strategic Planning.
The reshuffle of ACP Nkore comes at the time he has been accused of siding with one of the candidates in the Rukiga NRM primaries last month.
Victoria Atukunda Abigail the loser in the Rukiga woman MP primary elections, while in the meeting at State House, reported to President Yoweri Museveni that police in the Kigezi sub region connived with her opponent Caroline Kamusiime Muhwezi and arrested all her agents.
