Not so many people especially the pool enthusiasts in Uganda gave a chance to Ronz pool club to emerge champions this year.
Playing in the elite pool league for the first time, the thinking was, Ronz would need time to get used to the competition.
However, this was not the case as the Jinja based club put up a fairytale run to clinch the Betway national pool league title.

With Eric Mugabo, Cyrus Mawejje, Nakabale Abubaker, Allan Nsubuga, Dan Mubiru, Navy Matovu and Arafat Garuganda among others, Ronz were a force to reckon with throughout the season.
This was the first time that an upcountry team won the championship.
They finished the season with 68 points one above second placed CKI while Hot Pool came third.
Last season’s champions Scrap buyers ended the season in a distant 6th place on 47 points.
Club Icon and Cheers Rocats got relegated to junior league one after a poor display throughout the entire season.
In the ladies category, CKI won the championship in style amassing a total of 74 points and suffering just two losses the entire season.
