Celebrated media personality Roger Mugisha has said reports that he will soon be joining Capital FM are “not true.”
On Sunday, a blog reported that Mugisha, now a lead actor in the Second Chance TV Program that airs on NTV, will be heading to his former work place as soon as the show ends.
Mugisha, who took a break from radio presenting in 2015, had previously worked with the Kisementi based radio station between 1999 and 2004.
An old boy of St. Mary’s College Kisubi, he had started his radio career at Sanyu FM 3 years ago.
After quitting Capital, Roger Mugisha, who has also carved out a reputable niche in emceeing, joined KFM where he hosted a breakfast show until he quit in 2015.
At that time he had been given a job as a Business Development manager at Monitor Publications Ltd; he graduated as a chartered Marketer from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK in 2014.
Despite denying rumors of re-joining Capital FM which recently lost two popular presenters (Marcus Kwikiriza and Jackie Lumbasi), Mugisha said he would take up an opportunity to work with any radio that broadcasts in English as a “hobby”.
