Roast & Rhyme; One of the Best Attended Social Event

If there’s a best social event lists, its Roast and Rhyme. The party all slay queens would wish they could be, one where the crème de la crème girls including celebrities would never dare miss for a thing.

The event is slowly taking over as the most attended day till late in the night event with attendees overwhelmingly increasing on every episode.

This year’s episode running under the theme “Story Tellers,”attracted partiers from all walks of life as they listened to stories, danced to the musical classics while chugged on wine, beer and whiskey among other drinks.


During day time, one would say the event would not be on, following the heavy downpour that started as early as 12:00 noon, the exact scheduled time for the event.


On reaching the venue at about 2:15 Pm, Chimp corps found out that there were people already at the venue and wondered how they would be able to beat the rain and get in.



In that particular time, we can reliably inform that, they were not checked, neither had any one paid any entry fee, yet they were already at the venue.

They were then asked to get out of the venue for security check and of course payments be made for those buying tickets, ChimpLyf reports.

There was a lot of Muchomo all over the place all day long, Roast & Rhyme Market, Kids area with lots of games; ample parking and 100% guaranteed security.


Guards were spread all the way to the lake, not allowing any mistakes in the water just in case anyone wanted to go in it while drunk.


The event which was organized by Swangz Avenue and sponsored by Bell lager, saw performances from Uganda’s legendary singer Jose Chameleone who took revers back in time his smash golden hits; Dolotia, Kipepewo, Maama Mia, Jamila, Nekolela Mali, Vumilia and Bwosaba among others.

Other performers who equally entertained revelers included Giovanni Kiyinji, Tamba band and Sam Kimera among others.
