Defending champions Harris International emerged winners in the 2016 annual corporate beach soccer tournament that took place on Saturday at Lido beach Entebbe.

After qualifier games played in four different groups, Vision Group, Kampala water, Movit, MTN, Riham, CAA ‘A’, CAA ‘B’ and league debutants Online Media Publishers (OMPA) made it to the quarter finals.
The Kagwirawo Betting sponsored OMPA had overcome Kazinga Tours in the group stages and proceeded to the quarter finals despite a dismal performance against Vision Group.
State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and antiquities, Hon Godfrey Kiwanda who was the Guest of Honour, presided over the function.
The tournament organizer Betty Aliba of Perfect Events noted that the gala will be happening twice a year starting 2017.
