Rema Namakula’s 2020 Concert Dates Revealed

 

2019 was surely singer Rema Namakula’s year of success, especially in the music industry after releasing her hit song ‘Gutujja’ featuring B2C soldiers that topped charts.

She did not only make headlines in the music industry, but her personal life too when she met the ‘love of her life’ Hamza Ssebunya, a story that was ‘the talk of the town’ for some good time.

The ‘Sili Muyembe’ songstress will be starting off her 2020 with a live concert show slated to take place on Valentine’s Day Friday, February 14 at Hotel Africana.

She revealed this during a press conference held at the New Vision offices, Wednesday morning.

While speaking to journalists, Rema said 2020 has started really well on both her and her husband’s side.

“2020 has been perfect for me. We have just graduated, I say we, because we are one and of course my concert will be on come February 14, all those are big achievements for us this year though a lot is in the pipeline.”

Rema revealed that she will be releasing a new music video next week.

Asked whether Ssebunya, her husband will be attending the show, Rema said, “my husband will be there to see me perform, as well cheer and support me during the show.”

The singer also applauded her fans for their constant support throughout the years.

“This concert is majorly for my fans, the fuel that has kept the music engine burning all these years. You guys have given me your everything by supporting me in all aspects of my life, so this is going to be a thank you from me. Come expecting the best,” said Rema.

“I also want to thank KT for believing in me since day one of my career, thanks for your support and you can expect the best from me,” she added.

Organized by KT events, the show will see Rema perform at various locations in the country with a live show at Collin Hotel in Mukono on February 15, Maria Flo in Masaka on February 16, and Agip Motel in Mbarara and Lyantonde on February 22 and 23 respectively.

The last show will be in Kampala on women’s day, March 8.
