Just minutes after the Nakawa Grade one Magistrate granted bail to four of the 22 people charged with the murder AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, his bodyguard Kenneth Erau and driver Godfrey Wambewa, state prosecution opened fresh charges on two them.
The Court this morning released Swalleh Ddamulira, Sauda Ayub, Sinani Hibwaji and Ali Mugoya on grounds that they had over stayed in detention without trail.
Immediately after release, Mugoya and Sinani were charged with belonging to a terror organization.
The same charges were slapped on another suspect Abdul Kaala (who had not been granted bail today.)
People who stood surety of Mugoya and Sinani were seen in shock at the court premises.
Prosecution alleges that the two along with Kaala and others still at large between 2006 and April 2017 at various places in Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo belonged to the Allied Democratic Forces a terrorist organization
These were remanded back to Luzira prisons until 7th December 2017 for mention.
