Klear Kut rapper The Mith real name Tom Mayanja, who is signed under Navcorp music label that is owned by Navio alias Daniel Lubwama Kigozi, was rumored to be among the victims of the Saturday boat accident that took place on Lake Victoria.
Social media was awash with reports that the bulky rapper was among the 32 people that died after their boat, MV Templar capsized on Lake Victoria with over 100 people on board.
The reports were fueled by a photo that circulated online showing a look alike of the rapper lying lifeless among the bodies that were retrieved from the lake.
Navio has since been flooded with questions about the whereabouts of The Mith from concerned fans.
The ‘Njogereza’ hit maker yesterday evening came out to calm fans’ fears saying The Mith is doing well and will be communicating to them soon.
According to Navio, The Mith was neither in the tragic boat nor anywhere near it.
“Hello fam, I’m receiving many questions about TheMithMusic’s well-being. The Mith is ok. He was not on the boat or anywhere near it. He will communicate to you guys soon!!.” Navio posted alongside his photo with The Mith.
