Shortly after singer Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine making an entry into the 10th Parliament, rapper Daniel Kigozi aka Navio seems to be harboring political intentions too.
Navio, who is a son of renowned businesswoman Maggie Kigozi, has shown interest for the 2021 elections.
Speaking to ChimpLyf, the Njogereza hit maker said: “That’s why I studied political science and conflict resolution at university”
“I want to bring change in my constituency [Rubaga].” He added.
The rapper also revealed that a trail of political parties have recently approached him with intentions of luring him into the system, though he hasn’t settled for any.
“I still have to discuss the way forward during the upcoming campaigns before I choose a political party,” he told ChimpLyf.
“You know the people dictate on how the campaigns will be, so everything I do I will focus on them first.”
When asked on whether he would have no second thoughts on trimming his dreadlocks, Navio said ““It would come with pleasure to do what is good for my people.”
On Monday morning, the rapper also shared an intriguing photo of himself and Bobi Wine, captioning it “MCs to MPs. RUBAGA 2021.“
