Purple Sharks Veteran Striker Ndugwa Signs New Contract

Veteran forward Kareem Ndugwa has committed his future at Uganda Premier League side, Wakiso Giants Football Club for another year.

This follows his impressive performance in the 2019/2020 UPL season, scoring five goals and being the team’s second top scorer behind Vianne Sekajugo.

Before joining the Wakiso Giants, Ndugwa played for Express, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), Sports Club Villa Jogoo, Sadolin Paints, Victors, AFC Leopards (Kenya), Onduparaka and Mbarara City.

Last season, the Wakiso based side finished 10th with 30 points from 25 matches. They managed eight wins, six draws and 11 defeats.

Ahead of their second top-flight experience, Wakiso Giants have reportedly contracted Douglas Bamweyana as their next coach who will be deputized by Richard Wasswa.
