Robust forward right winger-cum forward Godfrey Lwesibawa has reunited with Coach Wasswa Bbosa at Uganda Premier League side Express Football Club.
The pacy forward rejoins the Red Eagles for the second stint after a successful 2013/2016 campaign.
During his three-year tenure at Express, he managed to score Eight goals and 25 assists in all competitions.
Lwesibawa rejoins the “Mukwano Gw’abanji” on a two-year employment contract that will keep him at the Wankulukuku based side until June 2022.
The attacker also featured for UPL record Champions Sports Club Villa in the 2016/2018 season netting Seven goals with 24 assists before moving to the the Fort-portal based Club, Tooro United two seasons ago.
While at Tooro United, he managed to score Four goals with 14 assists before becoming a free agent following his contract expiration.
Lwesibawa is the first signing made by Wasswa Bbosa, who was confirmed on permanent basis last Friday.
Bbosa is also set to also reunite with former captain Steven Luswata, Musa Mukasa, Isa Lumu among other players as he aims at restoring the team’s lost glory.
Last season, Express finished 9th on the Uganda Premier League table standings with 31 points from the 25 matches played.
