Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Spokesperson Ibrahim Semujju Nganda has today implored Party leaders from Kampala and Wakiso Districts to adopt cunning tactics so as to remain afloat.
Semujju made these remarks on Thursday while addressing a half day training workshop for FDC leaders within the Kampala Metropolitan area at Najjanankumbi.
The party spokesman said given manner in which line government agencies have handled the election process so far, opposition would need to adjust their strategies.
These he said would need to “adopt rogue ways” of beating security crackdowns that have constrained their mobilization activities in the run up to the 2021 Polls.
“You see what happened in Bwaise when FDC went to open an FDC office. Police said they were not aware but they were the first to arrive at the venue,” Semujju said.
“So therefore, be prepared mentally that we are going into a kiyaaye campaign and we must be up to the task”
Considering the above circumstance, Semujju says aspiring FDC leaders must devise inventive ways of campaigning.
