Police Summon Kisoro MP for Inciting Locals

John Niyizeimana Kamara, the Bufumbira County North Member of Parliament in Kisoro has been summoned to appear at the Kigezi Regional Criminal Investigations Department (CID)   in Kabale to be questioned on his alleged involvement in inciting locals not to pay market dues.

In the summons dated 7th December 2018, copied to the Director CID, RPC Kigezi and DPC Kisoro, the MP was ordered to report at the CID offices on Thursday 13th December 2018 to give his statement on allegations.

Police says the MP on 27th January 2018, while in company of  mobilized business people and Bodaboda riders in Busanza Mupaka Market, ordered them not to pay any market dues.

Detective Superintendent of Police Yona Kule,   the Kigezi Regional CID chief says in the summons that, the act is a Criminal Offence and that they want MP Kamara explain himself.
