Police Officer Defiles Minor From Cell, Flees Duty

Police in Bombo district are investigating a police constable who allegedly defiled a fifteen year old primary school girl from a police post cell.

According to sources, Police Constable Charles Mpima 49 years old attached to Nyimbwa police post defiled the girl as she had gone to seek protection from police against her brutal step mother.

It is said that the girl’s step mother identified as Margret Nakitende threatened to kill her hours before she [Nakitende] commit suicide.

Sources told chimp corps that when she reached police, the officer instead detained her and later raped her at night.

“The victim spent the night at the post and allegedly got defiled that same night,” said the source that preferred anonymity.

Chimp corps also established the victim is a pupil at St. Tehereza Nandere Primary School in Bombo town.

This investigative website has further established that the case has been transferred to Luweero Police Station on file number CRB 243/2018.

However, police sources told chimp corps that on suspicion that the matter is being investigated, the suspect fled and will also be charged with being Absent without Official Leave (AWOL).
