Midfielder Edward Kiryowa has extended his stay at 2006 Uganda Premier League winners Police FC for three more years.
He joined the Cops two seasons ago from first division side Farmers Football Club, donning shirt 10.
The player has been handed a new contract despite having limited playing time last season due to injuries. He is remembered for grabbing an assist against Wakiso Giants setting up Pius Kaggwa at Lugogo.
Upon the development, Kiwanuka felt grateful for the opportunity extended to him by the club administration and hopes to do his level best next season.
“I feel so happy for the opportunity granted to extend my stay with the Cops. It’s a sign of trust and confidence in me as a player and I promise to do my best,” Kiwanuka said.
“I am going to work harder compared to the last season to help the club attain greater heights. We are all looking forward to achieve the best as we build our football profession,” he added.
Other players that have Committed their future at the Lugogo side are Johnson Odong, Denis Rukundo, Yusuf Ssozi, Bashir Kabuye, Mubarak Nsubuga and Musa Matovu.
Police has also signed experienced players in Tonny Mawejje, Muwadda Mawejje, Tom Ikara, Eric Ssenjobe, and Mood Hassan.
