Police Eulogizes Fallen Officer, Morris Orach

The Uganda Police Force has described their fallen colleague, malady ASP Morris Orach as a courageous and committed officer who always performed his duties with zeal.

The remarks were made by the Deputy Police Spokesperson ACP Polly Namaye, in a statement released on Friday July 22nd.

“The late Orach will be remembered for the courage, zeal and commitment with which he performed his duties, especially when he was appointed to command his colleagues while on internship in Kira region from Dec 2015 – Feb 2016,” the statement reads in part.

Orach died on Friday morning at 1:00am at the Police Training School in Kabalye after he was struck by lightning while communicating on phone during a heavy down pour.

He was born on November 5th, 1986, in Pader District to Mr Onono George and Ms Lamenyi Rose

He joined the Force on July 1st, 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Procurement from Kyambogo University.

The deceased will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Gulu District.
