Police Diverts Kampala Traffic Flow As President Museveni Sets To Launch Kampala Fly Over

Traffic Police has this afternoon announced and put in action a traffic plan that will be followed tomorrow when the president launches a Kampala fly over project.

While addressing the press at Central Police Station in Kampala, the KMP Traffic Commander Norman Musinga said that the preparation starts today at 4pm.

According to Musinga, the launch is expected to take place along Kafumbe Mukasa road and ministers with other invited guests will grace the occasion.

At exactly 4pm, traffic flow around will be closed to general public but there will be normal traffic flow along queens way from the city center.

Motorists from Entebbe heading to the city center will be diverted at Zana Round about, Stella to Namasuba junction then to Kibuye round about.

Other roads affected in the preparation are Mengo Hill road whose traffic will also be diverted to Kisenyi and Kibuye round about.

“The general public is encouraged to adhere with the set guidelines to avoid inconveniences,” Musinga cautioned.
