Tanzania Premier League
Young Africans 0-0 Azam FC
Uganda Cranes right back Nicholas Wadada was in action on Sunday as his side Azam Football Club held Young Africans to a barren draw in the Tanzania Premier League.
The pacy right back made the starting lineup and played the full 90 minutes as the moneybags fought for a vital away point at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium, Dar es salaam.
Last week, the full back did not feature for his team in their 2-0 victory against Mbao at the Azam Sports Complex.
The result keeps Azam FC in the second position with 58 points, 17 shy of log leaders Simba Sports Club as Young Africans remain 3rd placed on 56 points.
Azam will play away to Biashara United at Karume Football Stadium in Musoma city as Young Africans host Ndanda in their next league encounters.
Elsewhere, striker Alexis Bakka was on target as his Umea FC drew 1-1 at home to Akropolis FC in the Sweden Suppertan.
Bakka put Umea in the driving seat after 54 minutes before substitute Adhavan Rayomohan equalized for the visitors in the 89th minute at the Umea Energi Arena.
Alexis Bakka who was also the man of the match will return to action for Umea FC in their trip to AFC Eskilstuna on Saturday 27th July, 2020.
