A few days back, President Yoweri Museveni met the Uganda Cranes team led by skipper Dennis Masinde Onyango and Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) officials led by Eng. Moses Magogo.
Museveni congratulated the team for beating Cape Verde last Saturday and qualifying for AFCON 2019 to be held in Cameroon.
However, the highlight of the meeting was Museveni’s skills with a football.
Before he was presented with a Uganda Cranes jersey branded YK Museveni 7, the man from Rwakitura mesmerized guests as he juggled a football like Argentina and Barcelona super star Lionel Messi.
Using his left leg, Museveni juggled on the foot, knee and finally the head for about two minutes without the ball touching the ground much to the excitement of the guests.
Later, he promised more government support to sports including building and refurbishing of stadia in the near future.
He urged the team to ensure it wins its final game against Tanzania, even when they have already qualified.
