It was all glamour as Uganda’s finest comedian Patrick Idringi alias Salvador was introduced to his fiancée Daphine at her home in Mityana District on Sunday.
Clad in a purple jacket and white Kanzu, Salvador was all smiles as Daphine’s family welcomed him to their home.
The lovebirds are blessed with two children.
“Now that you’ve decided to come home after this long, you are warmly welcome,” the family representative said.
Salvador was accompanied by friends, relatives and Kampala’s top entertainment celebrities.
The guests cheered on the couple as it danced and waved amid great music.
Daphine wore a white dress which was made popular by Queen Victoria in the 19th century.
Victoria wore plainwhite to marry Prince Albert in 1840, and sparked a trend that’s lasted to this day.
The couple was urged to remain faithful and support one another.
A workmate of Salvador humorously said they were happy to bless the marriage much as “everything to Salvador is a joke.”
Guests were treated to free comedy as Salvador derived laughs from facial expressions.
The bouquets of flowers were carefully placed alongside baskets of oranges and apples, bringing a sense of joy, freshness and enthusiasm to the function.
Fast-rising musician Lady Jasmine spiced up the event with her latest hits.
