PHOTOS: UNAA President Monday Atigo Donates to Kasangati Health Centre

Uganda North American Association (UNAA) President and Chief Executive Officer, Monday Atigo last week delivered over 60 mattresses to Kansangati Health Centre in Wakiso District.

Atigo handed over the mattresses to Kyadondo East MP-elect and singer Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine and Kasangati Health Centre administrators.

Speaking to journalists during the handover, Monday Atigo said, “Bobi Wine is a friend of UNAA and whenever we have projects like this, we like to partner with our friends. We’re grateful that he won the recent Kyadondo East By-election.”

Atigo says the donations from UNAA are nation-wide and are aimed at improving on the Health Services and lives of Ugandans all over the country.

Fortunate Nakkazi, a nurse at Kasangati Health Centre expressed her gratitude to UNAA for their donation.

“Bobi Wine has started doing wonders for the people of Kyadondo. Through him we have been able to get new mattresses from UNAA. We have been suffering with old and rotten mattresses,” Nakkazi said.

Atigo, who has been UNAA President for two years (2015-2017), is contesting for a second term as president of the association.

The UNAA elections will be held will be held on September 3, 2017 during the 29th Annual UNAA Convention and Trade Expo, which will take place from September 1 to 3 in Miami FL.
