Kampala’s most popular posh hangout, Atmosphere Lounge, has reopened to the city’s urban middleclass after months of intense renovation.
The place was temporarily closed by city authorities over alleged noise pollution.
But Atmosphere’s manager, Grace K, says the bar is now up and running having taken into considerable the neighbourhood’s concerns.
At the venue, Chimp Corps realized a glittering suspended roof had been added to a section of the bar.
Dozens of sound proof materials have been fitted on the walls to stop sound from leaving the hangout.
Located in Kololo, Atmosphere is known as a home for jolly waitresses and partiers with a penchant for exotic whiskies and great wines.
Some of the popular theme nights include Tuesday’s “Girls in City” – a big attraction for Kampala’s bachelors.
Quiz Night runs on Wednesday.
“We also have the famous Duty Free Sunday whereby discounts of up to 50 percent are given on most drinks,” said Grace.
Tucked away in a serene environment, Atmosphere has now been upgraded to a more chilled out upscale place.
