The Kampala Fashion Week launched its fourth edition after a long period of 12 months in wait.
The progressing three-day event which started on Thursday evening at Kampala Forest Resort, attracted several fashion lovers who started arriving at the venue by 6pm.
The event hosted by Malaika Nyanzi saw ten designers showcase their creative wear made out of natural fabrics.
Malaika said that;
“The event is still ongoing, going through the process of elimination of designers.”
She added that; “On the last day, the overall winner will stand a chance to be the designer of the US beauty ambassador to Uganda, among other benefits.”
By around 10:30PM when the event was wound up, the audience had enjoyed an exhibition of the greatest fashion designs from around Kampala, East Africana and beyond.
Kampala Fashion Week IV- Phase 1, which is supported by US Embassy and SEED, aims at supporting ten creative designers that lack platform of exposure for development in their personal projects.
