Preparations for the African traditional marriage ceremony of Andile Ramaphosa and fiancée Bridget Birungi are in high gear at the residence of former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi in Kololo Kampala.
Chimplyf understands Ms Hope Ramaphosa, the mother of Andile (bridegroom), has already arrived in Uganda ahead of the much anticipated Kuhingira ceremony set for this Saturday.
Hope jetted into the country today (Wednesday).
Upon arrival, the South African First Lady was welcomed by a visibly excited Jacqueline Mbabazi as seen in the pictures.
In May, this very site reported how Mbabazi would become an in-law to Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of South Africa who assumed this role after the resignation of Jacob Zuma.
This was after the Mbabazi family announced Birungi would be exchanging vows with Andile.
Bridget happens to be Mbabazi’s niece who he raised after her father was killed in the 1980s.
The 36-year-old Bridget is daughter to Shadrack Rwakairu and Peace Ruhindi.
