Former City Oilers player Otim Jonah is already in the United States for his studies.
The guard played his last game for the Oilers, as the five time champions lost to KIU Titans on Friday at YMCA.
Jonah left on Sunday, aboard the Ethiopian Airways to Addis Ababa at 11 AM.
In Addis, he had to wait for about six hours before flying off to Dublin where connected to Chicago. He arrived in Chicago on Monday morning, 7:55 AM.
“I arrived safely in the States,” Jonah, exclusively told this website.
He further revelead that he ‘may return to the home soil after my course’.
He added: “I will miss friends, family and my team – the Oilers.”
Jonah left Uganda with his head high after he led the team to two league Championships, two zone five club championship.
