Uncountable holiday makers flooded Garden City from bottom to the rooftop for a fun time on Saturday during the Buzz Leavers Rock.
It is that time of the holidays where students are just from school and are more than excited to relieve exam stress; which is exactly what they did at Buzz.
“I just finished my ‘Kantab’ (UCE), I lost weight due to over reading so I was counting days to holidays so that I come for Buzz to dance,” intimated Sharon Nakitende a vacist.
Teens made their way to Garden City dressed in all kinds of fashion, some in cliques, while others came as couples.
They were treated to a whole day of great music of their time and numerous performances from artists they only get to listen to during their school dances.
A one Katumba a Form 5 student at St. Lawrence said, “I admire Kent and Flosso so much so when I saw them on the poster I made plans to escape from home just to watch them.”
About 20 artists performed leaving most of the young people dancing breathlessly as they sipped on a bottle of Mountain Dew which each one was entitled to.
After the performances, they were given 30 minutes of nonstop disco by the famous DJ Mercy and by 6pm the show ended; one could notice the satisfied look on their faces for enjoying their money’s worth.
The event was hosted by the city top events host Mc Hypeman.
